It's the small things that are important to Distinction Joinery and we pride ourselves on the finish of the product. You can be reassured that all of our joinery is of the highest quality with superior hardware & fittings as a standard offering.

We don't produce Kit sets. This is because all our work is customised to meet the specific job requirements. Our materials haven't been sitting in storage gathering dust, and they are guaranteed to have been ordered to meet your specific joinery needs. We have invested in brand new production machinery to ensure all products are made efficiently and have the finest finish possible.

Our Team

Distinction Joinery is owned by Glenn Arbuthnott. Glenn trained through the Fletcher Apprentice program and has been in on-the-tools for 29+ years.

Charlie Lagor - Joiner, trained and worked alongside Glenn throughout his career. We consider his craftsmanship and experience to be a unique benefit for Distinctions customers.

We are now fortunate to have 5 experienced tradesmen and an apprentice learning from the very best.

Having worked within one of New Zealand's largest companies for many years we know the importance of a well-managed business.
